Business Development Managers - USA
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process from qualification to closure along with ensuring existing customer retention. The candidate will have a proven track level of at least 3-5 years experience of selling and marketing, from within the information services industry for energy or financial trading environments.
The candidate must have experience using CRM systems and will be expected to work closely with the Sales director, support and development teams. Solutions sales experience is preferable but not required, but the ability to manage a pipeline of sales for OILspace trade management software applications is required. Market data selling will range from the sale of real-time information screens, historical time series subscriptions and one-off data sales.
Requirements:
- Energy, Oil, Petrochemical Marketing experience a Plus.
- Subscription-based selling a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' experience preferrably in an energy trading and risk or financial trading environment.
- Strong ability to approach prospects with effective cold calling techniques.
